A note on sourcing: the Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex 243/193 prices above are the asking prices on each item page as of 2026-09-20, and USD is the conversion the page displayed at checkout. All copies are the Japanese print of the Pokémon TCG[5]. Condition notes come from the seller’s own Mercari / Yahoo! Flea Market condition field (translated); Suruga-ya rows are shop stock and carry none. Listing titles are in Japanese — the tiles below link to each copy. Mercari supports overseas buyers via partner proxy services[3].
Yahoo! Flea Market owns the slab column: ¥7,699, ¥7,900, ¥8,498, ¥8,500 and ¥9,500, all unused, none with an authentication option because none is a Mercari listing. The PSA 9s at ¥5,999 and ¥6,480 are Mercari, both authentication-eligible, both priced within ¥1,700 of the cheapest 10 — a thin discount. Raw copies are the weak spot: the ¥2,999 copy asks buyers to judge condition from the photos and notes that factory flaws may exist, while the ¥3,000 and ¥3,111 copies carry slight-wear notes. Forty-seven raws are in stock, so cleaner copies exist further up the price list.

Everything on this page refers to the Japanese-language Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex, collector number 243/193 in MEGA Dream ex high-class pack. An English print of the same artwork is a different card with its own number, set name and market[5], as are promo versions and full-art variants from other sets. Match the number on the slab label before you compare any price.
Is Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex PSA 10 worth 2.57× the raw card?
A 2.6× multiple with a ¥4,700 gap is a modest premium, and the reason is the raw price: Marnie’s Grimmsnarl holds ¥3,000 ungraded because the Marnie-themed art sells regardless of condition. The PSA 9 at ¥5,999 is the problem grade — ¥1,700 under the 10 is not enough discount to prefer it, and it is ¥3,000 over raw for a holder that says “not quite”. PSA’s grading scale[6] separates 9 and 10 on small flaws; here the market barely separates them on price. If you want a slab, pay the ¥7,699 for the 10.
| Route | Cost today (JPY, before shipping) | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Buy the cheapest PSA 10 slab | ¥7,699 | Grade already locked in; you pay the full premium, nothing to wait for. |
| Buy the cheapest raw copy as-is | ¥2,999 | Cheapest way to own the artwork; condition is whatever the photos show. |
| Buy a raw copy that offers Mercari official authentication (OneMall submits the item; Mercari official issues the conclusion; OneMall does not guarantee authenticity) | raw price + ¥1,700 | Authentication[1] is seller-enabled; the cheapest raw listing today does not offer it, so compare the next ones in the table above. |
The ¥7,699 slab is the buy for the grade. For the binder, look past the three cheapest raws to a copy without a wear note, or take the ¥3,000 copy with Mercari official authentication (OneMall submits the item; Mercari official issues the conclusion; OneMall does not guarantee authenticity)[1] (¥4,700 all-in) if the seller’s photos satisfy you. Skip the PSA 9s at today’s prices.
Getting a Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex SAR 243/193 shipped from Japan
All five cheapest slabs are Yahoo! Flea Market listings; a proxy buys them exactly like Mercari ones. The steps:
- Step 1 — Open the listing on OneMall. Every tile below links straight to the OneMall item page for that exact copy, so you skip the Japanese-only Mercari app entirely.
- Step 2 — Check the slab label in the photos. Read the collector number on the PSA label before you pay; the same Pokémon often exists at several numbers in the same set.
- Step 3 — Add authentication if the seller offers it. For raw cards on Mercari, tick Mercari official authentication (OneMall submits the item; Mercari official issues the conclusion; OneMall does not guarantee authenticity) at checkout (+¥1,700)[1][2]; the card is inspected before it leaves Japan.
- Step 4 — Pay the first invoice. Item price plus the service fee (¥300 per item on most marketplaces; from ¥200 per item on Yahoo Auctions and LinkBuy) — international shipping is a separate second payment once the card is weighed at the warehouse.
- Step 5 — Consolidate and ship. Cards sit in free storage for 90 days after arrival (30 days after consolidation), the first six orders consolidate free, and one padded parcel to the US goes out by ECMS or DHL.
