As of November 2026, the Japanese MEGA series has put out a main set about each two months in 2026 (January, March, May, July), and Hadou Seeker is the last one announced for the year. Below: release date, price, card list, chase cards, live box prices against Storm Emeralda (M6), and the cheap — and cheapest realistic — way to buy a Hadou Seeker booster box from Japan.
Hadou Seeker (M7): Release Date, Price and Box Size
Pokémon’s Japanese product page lists the MEGA expansion pack “Hadou Seeker” for Friday, November 27, 2026 at a suggested retail price of ¥200 a pack, tax included, with 5 cards per pack inserted at random.[1] “Hadou” (波導) means aura, Lucario’s signature power.

| Hadou Seeker spec | Japanese version |
|---|---|
| Japanese name | ポケモンカードゲーム MEGA 拡張パック「ハドウシーカー」 |
| English rendering | Hadou Seeker (“aura seeker”), set code M7 |
| Japan release | Friday, November 27, 2026 |
| Pack price (MSRP, tax incl.) | ¥200 |
| Cards per pack | 5, inserted at random |
| Box size | Not printed on the maker page; Japanese retailers sell ¥200 MEGA expansions in 30-pack boxes (¥6,000 at list) |
| Featured Pokémon | Mega Lucario Z ex, Mega Garchomp Z ex, Mega Absol Z ex |
| Cards revealed so far | 20 (4 RR, 2 R, 5 U, 9 C), numbered up to 078, posted October 23, 2026 |
The maker page does not print a box size. Japanese retailer listings sell the set by the box, and the ¥200 MEGA expansions before it came in 30-pack boxes, which makes the list price of a box ¥6,000. The previous main set, Storm Emeralda (M6), launched on July 31, 2026 at the same ¥200 for 5 cards.[2] For where M7 sits among the year’s releases, see our Japanese Pokémon TCG release calendar 2026.
Hadou Seeker Card List and Chase Cards
The card list on the product page showed 20 cards on 2026-11-02, all posted on October 23, 2026: 4 RR (double rare), 2 R, 5 U and 9 C, with collection numbers running up to 078.[3] The page also shows Sigilyph ex, Meloetta, Revavroom, Drampa and Vibrava, and notes that Basic Energy cards, Boss’s Orders and Wally’s Compassion are not in this pack.[1]
| Card | What the maker page says | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Mega Lucario Z ex (メガルカリオZex) | Ability “Hadou Seeker” searches your deck for a Supporter; attack “Dancing Fist” aims for big damage against Pokémon ex | Headline card; the set is named after its Ability |
| Mega Garchomp Z ex (メガガブリアスZex) | Attack “Drago Avenger” does 30 damage for each Dragon Pokémon in your discard pile | Dragon-deck centerpiece |
| Mega Absol Z ex (メガアブソルZex) | Attack “Bloody Fear” does 160 damage and stops the opponent playing Special Energy and Stadiums from hand next turn | Disruption attacker |
| Korrina’s Determination (コルニの本気) | Supporter: +20 damage for Mega Evolution ex attacks for each Prize card the opponent has taken | Pairs with the Lucario search |
Which cards will be the chase cards?
Three “Z” Mega Evolution ex cards lead the set, and Mega Lucario Z ex is the headline: the page’s banner reads “波動の力で勝利を手繰り寄せろ!” (pull victory toward you with the power of aura). Mercari already carries older Lucario cards tagged with the Hadou Seeker name, which shows where demand is pointing.
What is not known yet: the special art and secret rare slots. As of 2026-11-02 the maker card list showed nothing above RR, so rumored “SAR” or “MUR” names stay unconfirmed until they appear there. For singles, our guide to cheap Japanese Pokémon cards covers condition words and grading.
Live Hadou Seeker Box Prices in Japan
| Product | Price range seen 2026-11-02 | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Hadou Seeker (M7) box, Rakuten pre-order | ¥12,680 – ¥21,200 | 12 shop listings; one shop at ¥33,000 with a 3-per-customer limit left out |
| Hadou Seeker (M7) box, Mercari | ¥10,999 – ¥17,000 | 6 sealed-box listings, mostly pre-order |
| Storm Emeralda (M6) box, Mercari | ¥8,999 – ¥11,111 | 13 single sealed boxes; outliers left out |
| Storm Emeralda (M6) box, Rakuten | ¥9,980 – ¥14,780 | shrink-wrapped shop stock |
Asking prices (not sold prices) from OneMall search on 2026-11-02; they move daily before a release. Three things stand out. First, M7 pre-order boxes ask roughly 1.8–3.5× the ¥6,000 list price. Second, the low end fell compared with the week before: our calendar post recorded Rakuten pre-orders from ¥21,200 on October 26, while the cheapest Rakuten pre-order on 2026-11-02 was ¥12,680. Third, one Mercari listing describes its box as a Pokémon Center Online lottery win — resale of a lottery box is something you can buy; the lottery itself is not.
Hadou Seeker vs Storm Emeralda: which box to buy?
| Hadou Seeker (M7) | Storm Emeralda (M6) | |
|---|---|---|
| Release | Nov 27, 2026 | Jul 31, 2026 |
| Pack price / cards | ¥200 · 5 cards | ¥200 · 5 cards |
| Box at list (30 packs, retailer box size) | ¥6,000 | ¥6,000 |
| Lowest sealed-box ask, 2026-11-02 | ¥10,999 (Mercari) | ¥8,999 (Mercari) |
| Ask vs list, low end | about 1.8× | about 1.5× |
| Status | Pre-order | In stock, three months on |
Storm Emeralda shows the usual curve: three months after launch, sealed boxes ask from about ¥9,000 on Mercari, roughly 1.5× list. If you want the cheapest sealed MEGA box today, M6 wins. If you want Mega Lucario Z ex and the new chase cards, M7 is the box, and the question is when to buy it. Our Storm Emeralda booster box guide tracked how that set’s prices moved from pre-order to release.
Pre-Orders, Lotteries and What Overseas Buyers Can Buy
Pokémon’s Japanese news page announced Hadou Seeker on October 23, 2026, and lists a separate Pokémon Center Online notice on lottery sales from September 29.[4] For the 30th-anniversary products, The Pokémon Company used My Number Card identity verification in Pokémon Center Online lotteries: most winning slots went to verified entrants, and verification does not promise a win.[5] Our 30th CELEBRATION guide explains that system in full.

- Lottery, identity-verified and purchase-limited sales cannot be bought through a proxy — not through OneMall, not through LinkBuy.
- Open pre-orders from Japanese shops can: Rakuten shops, Amazon Japan sellers and other Japanese online stores taking orders without lotteries or account limits.
- Resale is the other route: Mercari, Yahoo Auctions and Suruga-ya, before and after release day.
Hadou Seeker lands two weeks after the Special Deck Set MEGA on November 13, 2026 (¥5,500).[6]
How to Buy a Hadou Seeker Booster Box From Japan (Cheap and Cheapest Routes)
The cheapest realistic route: compare low-end Rakuten pre-orders with shrink-wrapped Mercari boxes, and check again a week or two after release, when store buyers list stock. Step by step:
- Step 1 — Search in Japanese: ハドウシーカー BOX, ハドウシーカー BOX シュリンク付き, ハドウシーカー 予約, and for comparison ストームエメラルダ BOX シュリンク付き.
- Step 2 — Check the seal and the listing type: pick シュリンク付き 未開封 boxes; skip シュリンクなし, “pack or box” variant listings and loose pack bundles if you want a sealed box.
- Step 3 — Order: pay the item price plus the ¥300-per-item service fee (Mercari, Rakuten and Amazon Japan). For a ¥12,680 pre-order that is ¥12,980 at the first payment.
- Step 4 — Wait for release: pre-orders ship from the shop around November 27; your box is stored free at our Tokyo warehouse while other orders arrive.
- Step 5 — Inspect: add unboxing photos (¥500 / ¥700) or a wrong/missing-item check (¥200) to see the shrink wrap, tear strip and corners before it ships.
- Step 6 — Consolidate and ship: combine it with other November buys; the first six orders consolidate free, ¥100 per order after that. Pay international and any Japanese domestic shipping at the second payment.
Sealed-box words to read on Japanese listings: シュリンク付き (shrink-wrapped), ペリペリあり (the tear strip on Pokémon boxes is intact), 未開封 (unopened), 予約 (pre-order) and 発売日前日発送 (ships the day before release). Listings marked シュリンクなし or ペリなし are cheaper for a reason: nobody can show the box was never opened.
OneMall buys from Japanese marketplaces such as Mercari, Yahoo Auctions, Rakuten, Amazon Japan and Suruga-ya, and from other Japanese online stores through LinkBuy (any Japanese shop URL). Items that need a lottery entry, an invitation, a purchase limit tied to an account, Japanese identity verification or a merchant account cannot be purchased. International shipping is charged on the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (length × width × height ÷ 5,000) of the box the warehouse uses.
Timing (estimated average): once a seller ships, items reach our Tokyo warehouse in about 3–5 business days, and parcels leave 1–3 business days after you pay for international shipping. Pre-orders ship from the Japanese shop on or just before the release date, so plan around that date rather than the day you order.
Service fees are ¥300 per item on most marketplaces; from ¥200 per item on Yahoo Auctions and LinkBuy. The first six orders consolidate free; each additional order costs ¥100. Storage is free for 90 days after arrival (30 days after consolidation). Payment is by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal, settled in USD.
US buyers: since August 29, 2025, US-bound parcels of any value go through customs and pay applicable duties, taxes and fees — the $800 de minimis exemption no longer applies. OneMall currently ships to the United States by ECMS, DHL and Japan Post EMS (DDP — declared value up to USD 2,500, duties prepaid with the shipping fee); the live quote at checkout shows which lines accept your parcel.
