Editorial Policy

This page explains how the OneMall team researches, writes, dates and corrects the articles on blog.onemall.jp. It applies to every post on the site.

Who is responsible

blog.onemall.jp is published by OneMall, the Japan proxy shopping and forwarding service operated by Inagora Inc. All articles carry the onemall byline and are the responsibility of the OneMall team; we do not publish guest posts, sponsored posts or third-party affiliate content. Links to onemall.jp carry a tracking parameter (ch=) so we can see which articles readers find useful.

How articles are produced

• Live data, dated. Prices, stock counts and listing details are read from live Japanese marketplace pages (Mercari, Yahoo Auctions, Rakuten, Amazon Japan, Suruga-ya, ZOZOTOWN and others) on the date printed in the article — look for “as of”, “Data read” or “Last updated”. A price in an article is a dated market reference, never a quote.
• Official sources for rules. Shipping, customs and duty statements come from carrier and customs authority pages (for example Japan Post, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the European Commission, HM Revenue & Customs) and from OneMall’s own published terms. Competitor fees are quoted from the competitor’s official fee page with the date we checked it, on the same basis as ours.
• Software-assisted, team-owned. We use software to collect listing data, to draft articles from that data and to check every draft against OneMall’s fact sheet before publication. The OneMall team is accountable for what is published.
• One topic, one URL. When a topic already has an article we update that article rather than publishing a competing one. Superseded pages are redirected to the page that replaces them.

What we do not claim

• We do not guarantee that any listing is authentic. OneMall purchases directly from Japanese marketplaces and offers unboxing photos and wrong-or-missing-item checks; for graded cards we point readers to PSA or BGS slabbed listings.
• Delivery times are estimated averages, not promises. Customs clearance, duties and import taxes depend on the destination country and are paid by the buyer.
• We do not rate competitors as “better” or “worse”; we show dated fee facts and example baskets so readers can compare for themselves.

Dates and updates

• The “Last updated” line at the end of an article changes only when the body of the article changes. Price tables carry their own read dates, which may be more recent than the article’s last update.
• Guides with a year in the title are reviewed when the facts behind them change (fee changes, customs rules, new releases) and at least once a year.
• Fee and policy wording follows OneMall’s confirmed fact sheet of 23 September 2026; where an older article still shows earlier wording, the help center at support.onemall.jp and this policy take precedence until the article is corrected.

Corrections

If you find a factual error — a wrong price, a dead link, an outdated customs rule — email [email protected] with the article URL and what is wrong. Verified factual errors are corrected in the article, and the article’s “Last updated” date is refreshed. See the contact page for other ways to reach us.
