Every price in this table is the seller’s listed price for that Canari copy, read from the item page on 2026-10-26; the USD figure is the checkout conversion shown alongside it. All rows are Japanese-language prints of the Pokémon TCG[5], and condition notes are the seller’s own Mercari condition field, translated. Seller titles are in Japanese; the tiles further down link to each listing. Mercari itself permits overseas purchases through partner proxy services[3].
Both live PSA 10 slabs are on Mercari: ¥16,400 and ¥18,000 (seller condition “Unused” on each), ¥1,600 apart. The real raw listings are ¥2,444 (Pre-owned) and ¥2,500 (Unused); the ¥39,999 raw is an outlier ask, not the market. On 2026-09-29 the picture was different: Mercari had the slab floor at ¥9,200, Yahoo! Flea Market followed at ¥9,380 and ¥13,000, PSA 9s were ¥3,480 and ¥5,000, and forty-nine raws were in stock.

One scope note: this page prices the Japanese Canari 248/193 from MEGA Dream ex high-class pack only. English prints of the same artwork have their own collector number, set name and market, and none of the figures here apply to them[5]. Promos and full-art variants from other sets are separate cards as well — check the number on the PSA label against 248/193 before comparing.
PSA 10 vs raw Canari: what a 6.71× premium buys
A 6.71× multiple, or a ¥13,956 gap, between the cheapest raw (¥2,444) and the cheapest PSA 10 (¥16,400) on 2026-10-26. With no PSA 9 currently listed, the live choice is the finished slab or a raw copy. On 2026-09-29 the PSA 9 sat at ¥3,480, 38% of the then-¥9,200 PSA 10 — the signature of a card that often misses PSA’s GEM MT 10 standard[6]; trainer SARs with pale backgrounds show every print line. A self-submission on the ¥2,500 Unused raw is cheap to try, but a 10 is not the likely outcome; the ¥16,400 finished slab is the certain route.
| Route | Cost today (JPY, before shipping) | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Buy the cheapest PSA 10 slab | ¥16,400 | Grade already locked in; you pay the full premium, nothing to wait for. |
| Buy the cheapest raw copy as-is | ¥2,444 | Lowest-cost route in this table; condition is whatever the photos show. |
| Buy a raw copy that offers Mercari official authentication (OneMall submits the item; Mercari official issues the conclusion; OneMall does not guarantee authenticity) | raw price + ¥1,700 | Authentication[1] is seller-enabled on Mercari listings only; check whether the listing you pick offers it before you buy. |
Buy the ¥16,400 slab for gem mint; the ¥18,000 copy is the only other live PSA 10. The ¥2,500 Unused raw is for the binder, and Mercari official authentication (OneMall submits the item; Mercari official issues the conclusion; OneMall does not guarantee authenticity)[1] adds ¥1,700 where the seller has enabled it.
Getting a Canari SAR 248/193 shipped from Japan
The purchase runs the same for the slab or a raw. Step by step:
- Step 1 — Decide slab or raw. The cost table above puts the gap at ¥13,956 between the cheapest raw copy and the cheapest PSA 10 on 2026-10-26; decide which side of that line you are on before you browse.
- Step 2 — Open the OneMall listing. The tiles below are live Japanese listings; the price you see is the listed price in yen with the USD conversion applied at checkout.
- Step 3 — Tick Mercari official authentication (OneMall submits the item; Mercari official issues the conclusion; OneMall does not guarantee authenticity) on raw cards. It costs ¥1,700 per card and the buyer pays it[1][2]; a card that fails is returned to the seller and you are refunded.
- Step 4 — Pay, then let it land in Tokyo. Product price and service fee first; shipping is billed separately after the warehouse weighs the parcel.
- Step 5 — Consolidate. The first six orders consolidate free and items are stored free for 90 days after arrival (30 days after consolidation), which is how collectors turn five Mercari sellers into one DHL box.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a PSA 10 Canari SAR 248/193?
The live Japanese listings re-checked on 2026-10-26 ask ¥16,400 and ¥18,000 (about US$113–124 before shipping), both on Mercari. On 2026-09-29 the range was ¥9,200 to ¥13,000; those copies are no longer listed.
Should I buy the PSA 9 Canari rather than a PSA 10?
If one is listed. No PSA 9 is among the live listings on 2026-10-26; on 2026-09-29 two were listed at ¥3,480 and ¥5,000, the cheaper one 38% of that day’s cheapest PSA 10. Mercari official authentication (OneMall submits the item; Mercari official issues the conclusion; OneMall does not guarantee authenticity)[1] is seller-enabled on Mercari listings only.
Why is the 9-to-10 gap so wide?
The pale full-art surface shows print lines, so the 10 is hard to get: the 2026-09-29 sweep counted forty-nine raws in stock against twenty-seven slabs, with the PSA 9 at 38% of the PSA 10. On 2026-10-26 the cheapest PSA 10 is 6.71× the cheapest raw, a ¥13,956 gap.
Which set is Canari SAR from?
The MEGA Dream ex high-class pack (M2a, MEGAドリームex); 248/193 is its special-art-rare number above the 193-card base.
What is the PSA 10 population for Canari 248/193?
This page does not quote a population count. PSA publishes the census in its Population Report[6], and the number moves with every submission batch, so a figure copied here would be stale within weeks. What the market shows instead is live supply: 27 PSA 10 slabs, 5 PSA 9 slabs and 49 raw copies of Canari 248/193 in stock on 2026-09-29 — the ratio of slabs to raws is the practical read on how heavily the card has been graded.
