All of the above is the Japanese-language Erika’s Invitation — number 206/165 in Pokémon Card 151. The English-language print of the same illustration carries a different collector number and set name, trades in a separate market, and is not covered by these prices[5]. Promo versions and full-art variants from other sets are different cards again: match the number on the slab label before you compare a price.
Erika’s Invitation PSA 10 value: is the slab worth 5.11× a raw copy?
A 5.11× multiple, or a ¥18,480 gap, with the PSA 9 at 29% of the 10: the market pays ¥16,314 for the gem-mint label over a 9 and only ¥2,166 for the 9 over the cheapest raw. That is a card that grades 10 rarely — Erika’s Invitation is a 2023 SAR whose textured full-art surface shows every scratch under PSA’s GEM MT 10 standard[6]. A self-submission on a raw copy most likely returns a PSA 9, which lists at ¥6,666 here. Buy the ¥22,980 slab if you want the 10; buy the ¥6,666 PSA 9 if you want a certified copy at the raw-plus-a-little price.
| Route | Cost today (JPY, before shipping) | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Buy the cheapest PSA 10 slab | ¥22,980 | Grade already locked in; you pay the full premium, nothing to wait for. |
| Buy the cheapest raw copy as-is | ¥4,500 | Cheapest way to own the artwork; condition is whatever the photos show. |
| Buy the cheapest raw copy with Mercari official authentication (OneMall submits the item; Mercari official issues the conclusion; OneMall does not guarantee authenticity) | ¥6,200 | ¥4,500 + ¥1,700 authentication fee[1]; the card is checked for authenticity before it ships, but it is still ungraded. |
Buy the ¥22,980 Yahoo! Flea Market slab for gem mint at the lowest price (no Mercari authentication option there), or the ¥23,800 Mercari slab with Mercari official authentication (OneMall submits the item; Mercari official issues the conclusion; OneMall does not guarantee authenticity)[1] (¥25,500 all-in). The ¥6,666 PSA 9 is the value buy. The ¥4,500 raw with authentication (¥6,200 all-in) is for the binder.
How to order Erika’s Invitation SAR 206/165 from a Japanese seller
A slab at this price earns the photo service. Here is the sequence.
- Step 1 — Decide slab or raw. The cost table above puts the gap at ¥18,480 between the cheapest raw copy and the cheapest PSA 10 today; decide which side of that line you are on before you browse.
- Step 2 — Open the OneMall listing. The tiles below are live Japanese listings; the price you see is the listed price in yen with the USD conversion applied at checkout.
- Step 3 — Tick Mercari official authentication (OneMall submits the item; Mercari official issues the conclusion; OneMall does not guarantee authenticity) on raw cards. It costs ¥1,700 per card and the buyer pays it[1][2]; a card that fails is returned to the seller and you are refunded.
- Step 4 — Pay, then let it land in Tokyo. Product price and service fee first; shipping is billed separately after the warehouse weighs the parcel.
- Step 5 — Consolidate. The first six orders consolidate free (¥100 for each additional order) and items are stored free for 90 days after arrival (30 days after consolidation), which is how collectors turn five Mercari sellers into one DHL box.
