If you are reading this from outside Japan, you almost certainly missed the pre-order window, and the official fan-club and artist-store routes were never going to ship to you anyway. The disc is already circulating on the Japanese second-hand market, and that is the route that works.

This guide covers, as of August 2026, exactly what this release is, what the versions cost, whether it will play where you live, and the cheap versus cheapest way to get one shipped to you.
What the Release Actually Is
On 31 August 2025 ONE OK ROCK played Nissan Stadium in Yokohama — a roughly 72,000-capacity venue and the largest stadium in Japan — as the culmination of the DETOX Japan tour.[1] A cinema edit of that run screened internationally in spring 2026. The home-video release that landed on 29 July 2026 is not that edit.[2]
The disc carries every song from the setlist plus the MC segments the theatrical cut left out, which is the specific reason fans who already saw the film are still buying it. Packaged with it is a 100-page booklet: live photography, individual member interviews, behind-the-scenes writing, a joint interview covering the show’s visual direction, newly shot images and previously unreleased design roughs.[2]

Will It Play Where You Live?
This is the question that decides which format to buy, and getting it wrong is the single most expensive mistake in this category.

Short version: if you are in the Americas or East Asia, buy the Blu-ray. If you are in Europe or Oceania, either buy a region-free player first, or accept that you are buying a collectible you will watch on a computer. Do not assume a games console will do it — most are region-locked for video discs even when they are not for games.
Why the Official Routes Do Not Work From Overseas
There were three clean ways to buy this on release, and all three assume a Japanese address.
- The artist store (A!SMART). Official, carries the purchase bonus, and its ordering flow is built around domestic Japanese delivery.[4]
- Japanese record retailers. Tower Records and the rest listed it from the June announcement onward with the standard bonus arrangement.[3]
- Export-friendly shops. A handful of Japanese retailers do ship internationally,[2] which is genuinely the easiest path if the item is in stock — but the bonus multi-case is usually gone and the price is the full retail one.
The pattern to internalise: the first-press bonuses on Japanese music releases are allocated by retailer, on a first-come basis, and disappear within days of release. By the time an overseas fan finds out a release exists, the bonus tier is already a second-hand item. Which is fine — because in Japan, second-hand is not a compromise.
Cheap vs Cheapest
“Cheap” means a proxy places a new order at a Japanese retailer at ¥7,920 including tax, then forwards it. You get a guaranteed sealed copy and, if you are early enough, the bonus. Total landed cost with fees and international shipping typically runs a little over the sticker.
“Cheapest” means letting the Japanese market work for you. Japan’s second-hand disc market is enormous and unsentimental — people buy the limited edition, rip it, and list it. Within two weeks of a major release, sealed and as-new copies are on Mercari at or below retail, and the previous tours’ Blu-rays have collapsed to the price of a paperback.

How to Buy It From Overseas: Step by Step
- Pick your format from the region table above, not from price. A DVD you can play beats a Blu-ray you cannot.
- Search in Japanese. ONE OK ROCK DETOX ブルーレイ for the Blu-ray, ONE OK ROCK DETOX DVD for the DVD, ワンオク ライブ Blu-ray for the wider live catalogue. The romanised band name works too, but the Japanese terms surface listings the English ones miss.
- Decide whether the bonus matters. If you want the original multi-case, search 特典 or マルチケース separately — sellers who ripped the disc often list the bonus item on its own for a few dollars.
- Read the condition wording. 新品未開封 = new and sealed, 新品同様 / 未使用に近い = as new, 開封済 = opened, 特典なし = bonus not included. That last one is the field that decides whether you are getting the multi-case.
- Consolidate. Discs are dense and heavy for their size, so one box of four beats four boxes of one by a wide margin. A proxy that holds purchases for 90 days lets you stack a release with whatever comes next.
- Check your import rules. The United States revoked its $800 de minimis exemption on 29 August 2025, so US-bound parcels are dutiable regardless of value.[6] Japan Post’s suspension of US-bound mail ended on 14 April 2026, so EMS and Sea Mail are running again with published per-destination rates.[5]

On a ¥7,920 Blu-ray the capped percentage lands at ¥238 on Mercari. Competing services charge flat fees as of 2026 — Buyee ¥500 per order, ZenMarket ¥500 per item and ¥800 for Mercari specifically, Neokyo ¥350 per item. The gap is small on one disc and stops being small once you are buying the back catalogue.
