TL;DR
Jujutsu Kaisen merch is priced by character first and product type second. In a sweep of 464 live Japanese listings on 11 September 2026, the median asking price across everything was ¥1,600, but Gojo, Sukuna and Toji goods sit well above that and Yuji goods well below. This page maps the market character by character, with real prices, and links each one to its live Japanese listings.
- Gojo is the market. He accounts for more listings than any other character and sets the ceiling on figures.
- Prize figures and Ichiban Kuji are the value tier — and they exist only on Japanese resale, because the lottery is sold in Japanese convenience stores[1].
- Season 3 goods are already secondary-market: The Culling Game Part 1 aired in Japan from January to March 2026 and reached Netflix globally in July[1], so the domestic merch wave came first.
- Everything below is buyable through the Jujutsu Kaisen picks page or by character from the table.
Supporting cast and the prize-figure lines
Beyond the eight headline characters, the Japanese market carries real depth for Maki Zenin (禪院真希), Toge Inumaki (狗巻棘), Panda, Choso (脹相), Mahito (真人), Mei Mei and Kinji Hakari — all of which appeared in the sweep — mostly as prize figures, acrylics and plush. “JJK” is the abbreviation most overseas fans search with; Japanese sellers never use it, so search 呪術廻戦 instead.
The prize-figure lines are worth knowing by name because they set the affordable tier: SEGA’s Luminasta and Figurizma series, Banpresto’s Q posket, and Bandai’s articulated S.H.Figuarts action figures for the poseable end. Good Smile’s Nendoroid chibi articulated line covers the main cast (Gojo, Itadori, Fushiguro, Kugisaki, Sukuna and more) and is the format most searched by overseas buyers; Banpresto’s Grandista and FuRyu’s prize lines, Sanrio character collaborations, Daiso capsule goods and “domain expansion” (領域展開) themed pieces all showed up in the sweep. Scale statues, garage kits and the MAXIMATIC sets sit above them. Removable-part gimmicks (blindfold off, coat off) are what separate a “secret” prize variant from the standard one.
Formats, gimmicks and the “Gojo figure incident”
Beyond figures and plush, the sweep was full of capsule figure collections (gacha, sold in numbered volumes), sitting and round mascot plush, Nitotan and Chokonose chibi mascots, acrylic stands, can badges and keychains. Trading items are sold blind (blind box or blind pack) in Japan; a “BOX” listing means the full sealed carton with every variant. “Life size” searches mostly lead to store display pieces rather than retail products. If you arrived here from the viral “Gojo figure incident” video — the figure with removable pants — note that no licensed line has that gimmick; official removable parts are the blindfold and the coat, and anything else is unlicensed. Later-arc characters Fumihiko Takaba (高羽史彦), Hiromi Higuruma (日車寛見) and Naoya Zenin (禪院直哉) already have goods on the market, mostly acrylics and kuji prizes.
Every main character, priced
Median asking prices are across all product types for that character in the sweep. Click a name to open live listings.
| Character | Median asking price | Listings in sweep | What to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Satoru Gojo (五条悟) | ¥1,800 | 149 | The centre of the whole market. Hidden Inventory (blindfold-off) versions outsell everything else. |
| Ryomen Sukuna (両面宿儺) | ¥1,650 | 69 | The villain line: Heian-era true-form figures and the MAXIMATIC prize series. |
| Yuji Itadori (虎杖悠仁) | ¥1,485 | 56 | Protagonist goods are plentiful and cheap, which makes sealed early figures the sleeper buy. |
| Megumi Fushiguro (伏黒恵) | ¥1,500 | 51 | Mahoraga and Divine Dog pairings command the premium. |
| Yuta Okkotsu (乙骨憂太) | ¥5,480 | 20 | Movie-era (Jujutsu Kaisen 0) goods plus a fresh Culling Game wave. |
| Suguru Geto (夏油傑) | ¥1,790 | 59 | Almost always sold as a Gojo pair — the two-figure sets are where the value is. |
| Toji Fushiguro (伏黒甚爾) | — | 5 | Thin catalogue, strong demand. Prize figures sell out fastest of any adult character. |
| Nobara Kugisaki (釘崎野薔薇) | ¥1,400 | 34 | Underproduced relative to popularity; kuji acrylics are the affordable route. |
| Kento Nanami (七海建人) | ¥1,400 | 23 | The “Nanamin” sets and plush lines — a fan-favourite with steady resale. |
Read the medians as a ranking, not a quote. A Gojo median is pulled up by scale figures and garage kits; a Nobara median is pulled down by acrylic stands, because that is most of what exists for her.

Character by character
Satoru Gojo (五条悟)
Gojo goods split into two eras that price differently. Present-day Gojo (blindfold, black uniform) is the bulk of the catalogue and the cheaper half. Hidden Inventory / Premature Death Gojo — the younger, sunglasses version from the Season 2 flashback arc — is the collector half, especially in the anniversary Tapinyanko plush mascots and any paired release with Geto. Scale figures and the resin garage kits at the top of the market are almost all Gojo. If you want one Gojo piece that holds value, buy a sealed Hidden Inventory prize figure rather than an open present-day one.
Ryomen Sukuna (両面宿儺)
Two different characters share the name in the merch market: the Sukuna-possessed Yuji (face markings, Yuji’s body) and the Heian-era true form (four arms, two faces) from the Shibuya and Culling Game arcs. The true-form figures are newer, scarcer and pricier. The MAXIMATIC prize line pairs Sukuna with Yuji in matched releases — those two-figure sets are the way to get both cheaply.
Yuji Itadori (虎杖悠仁)
Protagonist economics: the most produced, so the cheapest. That makes Yuji the right character for a first purchase, and it makes sealed first-wave figures from 2020–2021 the one Yuji category that appreciates, simply because everything else is abundant.
Megumi Fushiguro (伏黒恵)
Solo Megumi goods are mid-priced. The premium sits on anything that includes his shikigami — the Divine Dogs in plush and mascot form, and Mahoraga in figure form. Mahoraga figures are effectively their own sub-market and are the most expensive non-Gojo items in the sweep.
Yuta Okkotsu (乙骨憂太)
Yuta has two waves: Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie-era goods with Rika, and the 2026 Culling Game wave. Movie goods are the established collectibles; Culling Game goods are still cycling through first-owner resale, which is where the bargains are for the next few months.
Suguru Geto (夏油傑)
Geto rarely stands alone in the catalogue. Most of his goods are Gojo & Geto pairs from the Hidden Inventory arc — twin figures, twin acrylics, twin plush. Buy the pair; a solo Geto listing is usually a split set with the Gojo already sold.
Toji Fushiguro (伏黒甚爾)
Thin supply and adult-fan demand. Toji prize figures were produced in smaller numbers than the student characters and sell through fastest on Mercari. Expect to pay above the character median for anything sealed.
Nobara Kugisaki (釘崎野薔薇)
Under-served by figure makers relative to her popularity. The practical route is Ichiban Kuji acrylic stands and the plush mascot lines, where she is consistently included. Scale figures are rare enough that any listing deserves a close look at authenticity.
Kento Nanami (七海建人)
“Nanamin” goods are a steady fan-favourite market: plush, mascot sets and the anniversary lines. Not a speculation character — a buy-because-you-like-him character, which is exactly why prices are sane.
Where these goods come from, and why they are only in Japan
Three channels produce most of the catalogue. Ichiban Kuji is BANDAI SPIRITS’ paid lottery, sold at Japanese convenience stores, bookshops and hobby shops[1]; prizes never enter an export catalogue and exist only on resale. Prize figures (プライズ) are crane-game exclusives from the same arcade ecosystem. Event and store exclusives — Jump Shop, anime-store collaborations, pop-up cafes — are the acrylic stands, badges and mascots that make up the long tail. None of these three channels ships abroad, which is why a proxy is the route.
The full buying process, Ichiban Kuji mechanics and fee breakdown are in our Jujutsu Kaisen merch buying guide; this page is the character map that sits alongside it.
Authenticity: the three checks
- Look for the licensor line. Official goods carry the ©芥見下々/集英社・呪術廻戦製作委員会 copyright block on the box or tag. Its absence is the single fastest tell.
- Prize figures are not scale figures. A listing calling a ¥2,000 prize figure a “1/7 scale” is either confused or dishonest.
- Garage kits are unlicensed by design. Resin kits at the top of the price table are fan-made sculpts sold openly as such. Beautiful, expensive, and not official merchandise — know which you are buying.
How to buy
- Start from the Jujutsu Kaisen picks page for the current curated picks, or search a character in Japanese — 呪術廻戦 五条悟, 呪術廻戦 宿儺 — because Japanese sellers rarely title listings in English.
- Filter by 新品未開封 (new, sealed) if you are buying for value; 中古 (used) if you are buying to display.
- Consolidate. Acrylics and badges are tiny; combining ten of them into one parcel is where the shipping maths works.
Frequently asked questions
Who is the most popular Jujutsu Kaisen character for merch?
Gojo, by a wide margin — in listing count and in price ceiling. Sukuna is second on price, Yuji second on volume.
Where can I buy JJK merch besides Japan?
Chain retailers abroad stock a thin licensed range and marketplaces like eBay, AliExpress and Temu are heavy with unlicensed copies. Australia, the US, the UK and Canada all see the same pattern: the prize figures, kuji prizes and event goods that make up most of the Japanese catalogue simply are not distributed, so the Japanese resale market through a proxy is the practical source.
Where in Tokyo can I buy Jujutsu Kaisen merch?
Akihabara and Ikebukuro (Animate’s flagship, the kuji shops) for current goods; the Jump Shop branches for Shueisha official items; Nakano Broadway and Suruga-ya for second-hand. Universal Studios Japan in Osaka has run Jujutsu Kaisen attractions with park-exclusive goods, and those exclusives resell online afterwards. All of it is what a proxy reaches for you without the flight.
Is JJK merch at Hot Topic, Walmart, Target or Miniso the same as the Japanese goods?
No. Overseas chains carry Western-licensed lines — Funko Pop! vinyl figures, apparel, Crunchyroll Store exclusives, Miniso’s own collaboration plush — which are separate from the Japanese prize, kuji and capsule catalogue. Neither is fake; they are different licences. Apparel in Japan is thin outside the UNIQLO UT collaborations, so T-shirts, hoodies and gym wear are one category where overseas is actually the better source.
What about price in India, Pakistan, Singapore, Australia or New Zealand?
The Japanese asking prices in the tables above are the floor; add proxy fee and shipping (a 200 g prize figure is a small parcel) and, above your country’s duty threshold, import tax. Sealed prize figures typically land under the local retail of an imported scale figure by a wide margin.
What is the most expensive Jujutsu Kaisen figure?
In live Japanese listings, resin garage kits and large scale statues of Gojo, followed by Mahoraga figures. Official prize figures top out far lower.
Are Jujutsu Kaisen figures cheaper in Japan?
Yes, because Japan is where they were distributed — overseas listings are re-exports with a second margin. Prize and kuji items are frequently only available in Japan at all.
Is Season 3 merch available yet?
It has been available and is already on resale: the Culling Game arc aired in Japan January–March 2026[1], so its goods wave preceded the international broadcast.
