Beyblade X Xtreme Stadium (BX-10): What It Is, What It Really Costs, and the Cheap and Cheapest Way to Buy One From Japan
The BX-10 Xtreme Stadium is the tournament-standard arena for Beyblade X and the single accessory that unlocks the Xtreme Dash gimmick the whole system is built around. Japan’s official price is ¥2,750 — but almost every listing an overseas buyer can actually reach sits well above it. Here is the honest gap, and how to close it.
MSRP ¥2,750
TL;DR — the short answer
The BX-10 Xtreme Stadium launched in Japan on 15 July 2023 at ¥2,750 including tax and is still listed as current by Takara Tomy. The Amazon Japan marketplace listing most overseas buyers land on is ¥4,980 — about 1.8× official retail. A proxy order at ¥4,980 plus a flat ¥300 fee lands at ¥5,280 before international shipping.
- The stadium is not optional — the Xtreme Line gears in the floor are what trigger Xtreme Dash, so a Beyblade X bey in a generic arena is a different game.
- Scoring lives in the floor plan — corner Over Zones score 2 points, the wide central Xtreme Zone scores 3.
- You are usually paying a marketplace markup, not a Japan premium — buying at official retail through a proxy is materially cheaper if you are willing to wait.
- Stock is thin — every listing below is a third-party seller holding one or two units, so treat any price here as a snapshot.
What the BX-10 Xtreme Stadium actually does
Beyblade X is Takara Tomy[5]’s fourth-generation spinning-top line, positioned as a “gear sport” rather than a battle toy[1]. The mechanic that separates it from every earlier generation lives in the stadium floor, not in the bey.
The BX-10 arena is a square dish lined with Xtreme Lines — toothed rails that mesh with the gear teeth on a bey’s Bit. When a bey rides the rail it gets a burst of acceleration, the Xtreme Dash, and slams across the dish at a speed it cannot reach on its own. Put a Beyblade X bey in a flat generic arena and none of that happens.
The floor plan also defines scoring, which is why this stadium is the tournament standard:
| Zone | What it is | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Over Zone | The two corner exits | 2 — Over Finish |
| Xtreme Zone | The wide central exit, reachable mainly off an Xtreme Dash | 3 — Xtreme Finish |
| Spin / Burst | Opponent stops spinning, or bursts apart | 1 / 2 respectively |
Naming trap when you search: Takara Tomy’s official Japanese name is BX-10 エクストリームスタジアム, romanised on the box as Xtreme Stadium, but a large share of marketplace listings spell it Extreme Stadium. Search both or you will miss half the inventory.
Official price vs what you will actually pay
This is the part most guides skip. Takara Tomy still lists the BX-10 as a current product at ¥2,750 including tax, released 15 July 2023[2]. The marketplace listings an overseas buyer reaches[4] are a different market.
| Route | Item price | Proxy fee | First payment | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Official retail (Takara Tomy Mall) via Universal Shopping | ¥2,750 | ¥200 | ¥2,950 + JP domestic shipping | Cheapest, but stock and dispatch follow the official shop |
| Amazon Japan marketplace listing | ¥4,980 | ¥300 | ¥5,280 | Immediate, free Japanese domestic shipping, single unit |
| Bundled sets (BX-37, BX-46) | ¥10,800–¥16,422 | ¥300 | ¥11,100–¥16,722 | The motorised BX-37 stadium set (bey and launcher included) or the Infinity variant |
International shipping is a separate second payment calculated on the greater of actual and volumetric weight. A stadium is light but bulky, so it is the textbook case for consolidating with other orders rather than shipping alone — the first six orders combine free, and each order past six adds ¥100.

How to buy a Beyblade X stadium from Japan
-
Decide between speed and price
If you want it now, take a marketplace listing. If you want it cheap, order at official retail through Universal Shopping and accept the extra handling time. The gap on a BX-10 is roughly ¥5,000.
-
Search both spellings
Query Xtreme Stadium and Extreme Stadium, plus the model code BX-10. Japanese listings use エクストリームスタジアム, which English keyword searches will not match.
-
Check the seller tag and unit count
Most of these are third-party sellers with one or two units. “Only 1 left” means exactly that — if two buyers order the same listing, one order gets cancelled and refunded.
-
Pay the first payment
Item price plus a fixed ¥300 service fee per item on Amazon Japan or Rakuten. These particular sellers currently list domestic shipping as included.
-
Consolidate before shipping
A stadium is light and bulky, so it is priced on volumetric weight. Combining it with beys, launchers or other items can reduce duplicated packaging, but the actual shipping cost depends on the final box’s actual or volumetric weight. Storage is free for 90 days after arrival (30 days after consolidation).
-
Pick a shipping method and clear customs
EMS, DHL, ECMS and Sea Mail are all options depending on destination. US-bound parcels are dutiable regardless of value — the old US$800 de minimis exemption is suspended indefinitely[3].

Frequently asked questions
How much does the Beyblade X BX-10 Xtreme Stadium cost?
Takara Tomy’s official price is ¥2,750 including tax[2]. Third-party marketplace listings reachable from overseas were around ¥4,980 when this was written, roughly 1.8× retail. Add a flat ¥300 proxy fee and international shipping to either figure.
Do I need the Xtreme Stadium to play Beyblade X?
For the real game, yes. The Xtreme Lines built into the floor are what engage the gear teeth on a bey’s Bit and trigger the Xtreme Dash. A generic plastic arena will spin the beys but none of the Beyblade X mechanics or scoring zones exist in it.
What is the difference between the BX-10 and the BX-46 Infinity Stadium?
The BX-10 is the standard square arena used as the tournament default. The BX-46 Infinity Stadium is a later variant with different floor geometry. If you are buying one stadium to play the game as designed, buy the BX-10.
Why is it spelled “Extreme Stadium” on some listings?
The official Japanese product name is BX-10 エクストリームスタジアム, which transliterates as “Extreme” but is styled “Xtreme” in branding. Sellers use both. Searching only one spelling hides a large share of the inventory.
What is the cheapest way to buy Beyblade X from Japan?
Buy at official Japanese retail rather than a marketplace markup, then consolidate several items into one international parcel. The first six orders consolidate free; storage is free for 90 days after arrival and resets to 30 days after consolidation, so you can build a haul before paying for international shipping.
