Important Update for Customers in the Middle East

Due to escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East region, multiple international air corridors have been disrupted since late February 2026. These closures have caused widespread interruptions across global logistics networks, directly impacting the ability of major carriers to deliver parcels to and from the region.

At OneMall, we want to be transparent about what this means for your orders — and share the steps we are taking to minimize the impact on your shopping experience.

Who Is Affected?

Customers located in the following 11 destinations are currently experiencing shipping restrictions:

  • Bahrain
  • Egypt
  • Israel
  • Jordan
  • Kuwait
  • Lebanon
  • Oman
  • Qatar
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Turkey
  • United Arab Emirates

Due to the interconnected nature of global air freight, some shipments destined for countries outside the Middle East may also be affected if they rely on transit hubs within the region.

What OneMall Is Doing for You

Extended Free Storage — No Fees Until April 30, 2026

We know this situation is beyond your control. That is why we have decided to waive all storage fees and suspend disposal deadlines until April 30, 2026 for customers in the affected destinations listed above. Your items will remain safe in our warehouse at no extra cost while we wait for shipping routes to stabilize.

This policy will be reassessed as conditions evolve — and if needed, we will extend it further.

Proactive Parcel Monitoring

Our logistics team is actively tracking every parcel that may be impacted. If a carrier returns your shipment to us, we will process it back into our warehouse and notify you immediately through your OneMall account so you can decide on next steps.

Carrier-by-Carrier Breakdown (Updated March 19, 2026)

The situation varies significantly by carrier. Here is the latest status:

DHL

Status: Partially Suspended
Services remain suspended to Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. No confirmed resumption date has been announced.

Japan Post (EMS & Airmail)

Status: Mixed
Japan Post has resumed accepting mail to Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the UAE. However, they currently advise against shipping to Kuwait, Israel, and Qatar due to high return rates. Parcels to these destinations may be sent back without delivery.

Importantly, Japan Post disruptions are not limited to the Middle East. Because postal networks share global transit hubs, returned shipments have also been reported for destinations in Europe and Africa.

ECMS

Status: Operating with Delays
ECMS has resumed service on multiple European routes, including EU countries and Ukraine. However, rerouting around affected airspace has led to increased shipping costs and an estimated 2-week delay on top of standard transit times. Conditions remain fluid.

What You Can Do Right Now

We recommend taking a few minutes to review your current orders and consider these options:

  • Evaluate alternative carriers: Even if one carrier has suspended service to your country, another may still be operational. Use our Shipping Calculator to compare available options for your destination.
  • Switch your shipping method: You can update your preferred carrier directly from your OneMall account dashboard if a better option is available.
  • Consider a temporary forwarding address: If you have a trusted contact in an unaffected country, our Customer Support team can help you reroute your package. This can be a practical workaround while direct routes remain disrupted.
  • Wait it out: With storage fees waived until April 30, there is no rush. Your items are secure in our warehouse, and you can ship them once conditions improve.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be charged storage fees during the disruption period?

No. All storage fees and disposal deadlines are waived until April 30, 2026 for customers in the 11 affected destinations. If the situation persists, we may extend this period further.

My parcel was returned by the carrier. What happens next?

Once we receive and process the returned parcel at our warehouse, you will get a notification in your OneMall account. From there, you can choose to reship with a different carrier, reroute to another address, or keep it in storage until conditions improve.

I am not in the Middle East, but my shipment is delayed. Why?

International postal networks rely on shared transit hubs. When key hubs in the Middle East are disrupted, it can create a ripple effect on routes to other regions, including parts of Europe and Africa. If your parcel has been returned, it will be processed back into our warehouse and you will be notified.

How will I know when normal shipping resumes?

We are actively monitoring all carrier announcements and will update this page as soon as new information is available. You can also follow OneMall official channels for the latest updates.
